

| Kirsten Underwood is a 20-year-old southern girl who is just as comfortable in her high heels as her cowboy boots. She can drive a tractor, tell you about peanuts, or dress up like a beauty queen. She loves her southern heritage and agriculture and all that it brings. Music has always been a part of her life and daily walk. She began singing for events when she was 2 years old in church. Kirsten was selected to perform for five years as a member of nationally known 4H Performing Arts group, "Clovers and Company." In 2006, she released her debut CD, "The Beginning", and she has yet to slow down. Kirsten realized a life-long dream in 2008 when she put together her own band. They play her original music and various country/southern rock covers. 2009 was a big year for Kirsten. She won a talent competition in Columbus, Georgia and won the right to open for her favorite artist ,Gary Allan, and Randy Houser. Her hit song "Back Home in Georgia" has already begun a lift off not only being played in Georgia, but Charleston, SC. The song was debuted at the Georgia Capital in February of 2009. She has since opened up for Roy Clark, John Anderson, Gary Allan, Brantley Gilbert, Randy Houser, Kevin Skinner, and Shenandoah. She was also named the 2009 Georgia Country and Gospel Music Association Entertainer, Songwriter, and Video of the Year. Kirsten made her Nashville debut in February of 2010 at the Wildhorse Saloon. In March she was named the North American Country Music Association Songwriter, Most Promising Entertainer, and Most Promising Video of the Year. She performed at a kick-off party for the 2010 CMA Music Festival at the Listening Room in Nashville which was hosted by Grammy award winner, Linda Davis. Kirsten is performing all over the Southeast with her band and working on finishing her second self-titled CD, which can be listened to online.
